India won its freedom under the leadership of mahatma gandhi who followed his now famous theory of "if slapped on one cheek, show the other cheek". althou this mit seem a very non-existent ideal to follow in the 21st century, but exceptions are available.
consider this..
would u let another person tarnish ur image in front of everybody or stand up n say that he is wrong? would u continue to let him say crap n spread nonsense abt u or speak out???
gandhi would say "please, time will heal all issues".
but there is no time. this is the fast world. u say wat u want, say it on the face of the abuser, n get on with life.. not letting others hurt u is the basic tenet of life. getting back at them, but that does not translate to revenge. it means keeping ur character n image intact while not letting assholes tarnish it. by this i do not mean that we tarnish his image, i say, just tell him wat a characterless git he is.
Visionary leaders are known to have lead their kin afar to prosperity. here we have an example of a leader who has acted in one's own selfish beliefs, not caring about the people he is supposed to lead and secured his own life at the expense of 65 ppl who believed in him. is this not a breach of trust??? i would say this is a breach of basic human beliefs which makes a man trust another unconditionally. taking undue advantage of this trust makes u lose trust in humanity.
i feel that i hav lost trust in humanity now. people can use another for self-centered purpose, leaving them to squander along on the way. i realise that i hav become one of those persons who has been used for another's satisfying another's purpose.
sigh... i hope none of us encounters any such person further in our long lives and also fervently pray that i do not bump into this asshole any time in my life because later, gandhianism might have surely lost flavour with me and i might hit him across his face instead of showing my other cheek to hurt.
